RICHARD BRAIN

Richard Brain is a Conductor based in Hertfordshire where he is Director of Music at Halieybury and Musical Director of Bishop's Stortford Choral Society.

As the conductor of a diverse range of ensembles, Richard is equally comfortable directing singers and instrumentalists on a large or small scale. He trains hundreds of singers every week, exploring sacred and secular choral music from the Renaissance, through the great Baroque and Classical oratorios, to works for children's choirs and modern commissions. 

Richard studied Choral Conducting on the renowned MA Course at the Royal Academy of Music where he was awarded the Irene Burcher Prize in 2013.
