Richard Brain is a Conductor based in North London, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire. His portfolio includes Head of Music at The Peterborough School, Director of Music of Christ Church Southgate, and Musical Director of Bishop's Stortford Choral Society.
As the conductor of a diverse range of ensembles, Richard is equally comfortable directing singers and instrumentalists on a large or small scale. He trains hundreds of singers every week, exploring sacred and secular choral music from the Renaissance, through the great Baroque and Classical oratorios, to works for children's choirs and modern commissions.
Richard studied Choral Conducting on the renowned MA Course at the Royal Academy of Music where he was awarded the Irene Burcher Prize in 2013.
